Does anyone have a good image of an equilateral triangular tiling that prints nicely?
We're going to make hyperbolic planes by hand by gluing 7 triangles at each vertex, so I need high-yield pages. 1-1.5" sides.

Oh hey speaking of the SoCal-Nevada Section Meeting, @thewordninjabk.bsky.social is one of the invited speakers, due to receiving the Section Award for Distinguished Teaching of Mathematics! The title of that talk is “Teaching Proofs as a Way of Knowing.”
I will not be going to a rally this Saturday, but I will be giving a (short) talk at the MAA SoCal-Nevada Section Meeting. The title is “Collapsing states in digraphs.” Looking for an opening joke to make along the lines of “not the collapsing state we live in.”

How have I never heard it said this way?
A theorem and its converse can't be equivalent because a theorem doesn't have a unique converse!
I think a theorem has domain, hypotheses, conclusions; but things can move between domain/hypothesis, which changes the converse!
