This is a story about a newly-out trans woman in Eberron meeting up a shapeshifter who's been known to use her shapeshifting to appeal to a broad range of desires. In this case, that desire is figuring out how she feels about her gender identity. #D&D #Writing

An Archive of Our Own / AO3 title: I Got My Gender Affirmed At Velvet's by TheWrittenPaige Summary: Set in Eberron's Sharn, the City of Towers, the monk and newly-aware trans woman Kasha decides to take a rather important step forward in figuring out her gender identity. I really wanna know how sci-fi stories like Starfinder and Star Trek will acknowledge how GenAI has changed the cultural perception of the term AI for the negative. Would they change the term they use? Acknowledge the difference? Ignore it? It's interesting, if annoying that GenAI stole the term.

So it really seems that havoc dragons rebranded into delight dragons in PF2e's Draconic Codex. That's p cool, esp cause it means we now have a basis for what Aivu from WotR would look like in 2e. (And player options for similar PCs!)

Pathbuilder 2e just updated with Starfinder content and man. It's so nice getting to use this instead of the other sheet apps. It's so much easier to read, and being offline is a big plus.

I relate to T'lyn from Star Trek Lower Decks. I too am too stoic to be normal to humans (neurotypicals) and too emotional to feel like I'm being logical. I also just talk like that.

Each of the characters gets a rechargable energy shield, and I feel like (without having played it yet) it seems like a great way to do a really run-and-gun style Starfinder adventure without needing to pause for a lot of downtime.
AC 20; Fort +9, Ref +11, Will +5 HP 9 Energy Shield 24; Recharge 3 Energy Shield Amir has an invisible shield that protects him from incoming damage. The shield is similar to a secondary Hit Point value. Whenever Amir takes damage, he reduces his energy shield value first. Any remaining damage reduces his Hit Points as normal. At the end of Amir's turn, he regains an amount of energy shield listed on his recharge value, up to his listed energy shield value. The energy shield doesn’t recharge if Amir takes damage or while he is dying. AC 20; Fort +7, Ref +7, Will +11 HP 9 Energy Shield 24; Recharge 3 Energy Shield Aoi has an invisible shield that protects her from incoming damage.
