This disaster has been SO good for including everyone though that I'm almost not mad abou They're not really sidelining ANYONE right now and if that's the reason they made it 4eps, I'm pretty okay with it. I love that we got a big (but kinda normal?) rescue story that tied into character stories.

also I think retirement bobby would have provided just as many team dynamics changes. imagine how chimney would feel taking over if Bobby has basically personally passed it to Hen and then Chim would feel SO inferior when she turned it down. or the first time Athena is in danger in the field

i think what makes bsky fandom so nice is that anyone who only cares about being popular and scoring fandom points is not going to bother with a small site where you won't get thousands of likes. but ppl who enjoy hanging out & having fun get to form a close-knit community

right!! like I think it's mad the collective opinion trends towards "he was medically cleared" yeah before he'd just had a fucking pulmonary embolism, he was in the ER still when Bobby told him no!! But they never communicated after that really and that's on Bobby.

I actually even think all the actions he did were fine, he just needed to actually TALK to Buck.

If he'd said to Buck, "Hey, I think it's important for the team, and I include myself in this, to ease you back into full duty," I don't think Buck would have been nearly as upset.
