You are absolutely right! There will always be criminals in any society and it is always worse when the economy doesn't work for everyone. I know we can't eliminate crime. But when the people we elect & pay to be guardians of law & and order are the worst criminals, something has to change.

FACTS! The 80's, '03, '17 & '24 income & corporate tax cuts, elimination of nearly all estate & inheritance taxes & essentially stopping enforcement of anti-completion/monopoly laws since the 90s created this monster.
Re-creating a WASP aristocratic ruling class IS the GOP long game since the 70s.

Since the Feds stopped enforcing anti-competition / monopoly laws in the late '90s, nearly every industry in the US has consolidated, driven out competition & created huge unregulated abusive oligopolies. Now, mainstream media is ONLY about maximizing profits & responsibility/ethics are casualties.

I grew up on the idea (and mostly reality) of a free press as the 4th estate of democracy. From the dawn of America -2015, the media acted as the channel both ways of The People & elected government. They held them accountable.

Part is authoritarian media control (playbook!) but mostly profit.

When they say end DEI, they meant re-legalize (at least stop enforcing) job discrimination against POC, women, disabled, older Americans, LGBTQ+ & non-Christians. (But mostly non-whites)
They aren't even trying to hide it anymore. In fact, companies are doing it JUST to curry government favor. WTF?

Not sir- it was not communicated well or taken as intended. She got railroaded and honestly I think probably DID win. I don't take ANYTHING from her. She's the most qualified presidential candidate in education and experience of anyone in my lifetime/ of any party. Literally since probably JFK.

Oh shit I'm not criticizing her specifically. Yes- I kind of wish she had come out sooner and not only when her book came out, but hell SHE IS MY HERO! And I understand wanting to kick her wounds a while. I'm not dogging her. She's not in office. I don't give her any blame in current strategy

Oh- Obama is a beast! As I have said repeatedly, it's not all Democrats there are a few good ones. I named some of them specifically and said that the example is what they are doing. Governors? Awesome! Congressional Democrats in general and party leaders? They need to do more.

But also just for fun, the average CEO of a Fortune 500 company (obviously Bezos completely blows those numbers out ) makes FIVE times every week of the year what the average retail employee makes in one full year working 52 weeks and 40 hours per week.
