Here's a nice "proof without words":

The sum of the squares of several positive values can never be bigger than the square of their sum.

Thank you! LBA 2 was one of my favourite game in high school.
A small studio in Paris took on reviving the series but i heard in their last july newsletter they couldn't secure a publisher unfortunately.

I remain curious though... Have you met a game, which would not be "weak" per your standard in the same genre? Was the first opus even satisfying enough? I don't play much so if you'd have good references, i'd take them gladly :)

Indeed, I felt the same after seeing a scene which had kind of "spoiled" other ones. However isn't it also part of the storyline? To receive out of order pieces since time is such an important actor? Anyway, I understand it is far from being perhaps half as "innovative" as Breath Of The Wild...

I'd say that in the same vein than doomscrolling, it is up to us to close the "story" without going too deep into details, side-quests which are indeed not so relevant to main story lines (even though it would mean ending the game with more difficulty perhaps). The level of "freedom" seems to be key

For having been sceptical at first with regard to this game, i understand your point with regard to the "collect things that anyway break". However you're quite harsh with regard to storytelling and quests parts... The latter are mostly optional and the story introduces new perspectives over Hyrule.

En effet, pour un tri significatif et sans effet de traine, ça aurait moins de sens sous l'angle de la brièveté et synthèse mais ça viendra p.e. 🤞🍀
