So if recent events have you finally realizing that Trump and his administration are dangerous, you are welcome to join folks who have been against him for years. Just expect that people will be skeptical of you and your motives. You supported a conman for over a decade. That's on you.

When the Catholic Church is calling your country out, you're really fucking up.
Wow— “Cardinal Tobin told hundreds of faithful gathered online that now is the time to say no — no to violence, no to indifference, and no to funding the U.S. government’s own “machinery of death.”

Of course they're lying. They built a news network on lies. They've eroded laws and policies that reigned in some of their lies. They've gamed social media to spread their lies. Their voters have been groomed into believing those lies.

But call them liars to their faces. They need to hear it.

So like, we had a Constitution laying around somewhere... Has anyone checked under the couch? There were some laws sitting right next to it last time I saw it.

We live in a world where people would rather be wrong than admit they were wrong and make amends. We also live in a world where forgiveness and reconciliation are withheld as if they themselves are sins.

I have long lamented the lack of Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein style movies in the modern era and here we are with news of what I hope will be the dumbest most slapsticky horror-comedy these two can conjure up.
Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell Reunite for ‘Kenan & Kel Meet Frankenstein’
Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell are teaming up once again for a horror comedy film that will pit the pair against Frankenstein.

The assholes who voted for him got another Reagan after all.
Trump is now confusing Greenland and Iceland: "They're not there for us on Iceland, that I can tell you. Our stock market took the first dip yesterday because of Iceland. So Iceland has already cost us a lot of money."

The noise from the Christian right is a swan song for their end, not an overture for their new era.
Gallup reports a 17-point drop in the percentage of US adults who consider religion an important part of their daily lives — from 66% in 2015 to 49% today. This is among the largest drops in any country over any 10-year period since 2007.

It's NOT a revival.

Worth pointing out, as someone who lives in Chattanooga, that this is at least the third such case involving a member of Abba House's leadership since 1992. The 2nd since 2023. At least that the general public is aware of. A fun fact as my state tries to treat lgbtq people like we're the problem.

I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.

And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”

Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.
