We finally have a win and a clean sheet! Funny what happens when you play defenders in defence, don’t play Gakpo and Salah together, play Wirtz and give him freedom. Lots of promising signs in that performance, but can they carry it over to the next game. #LFC

Today’s game has shown has important Wirtz is for LFC. He has been everywhere, pressing, linking up, being creative. He has been pushed around to make way for others in the team, when it’s clear he gets his role and others need to fit around him. #LFC

Finished the 4 episodes of Stranger Things last night. Some good bits, but also felt like there was lots of filler. Could have cut the episodes down. The next 4 being movie length concerns me. Is there really that much more story to tell?… #StrangerThings5

This latest series of Stranger Things is comical at times because they have clear adults with stubble playing kids. They should have jumped the story forward a few years to make up for the ‘kids’ growing up. #StrangerThings5

I think Slot goes today by ‘mutual agreement’. Looking at him after the game yesterday, he looked like he knew it too. He will go away, build his career again somewhere and become a top manager for sure, but for some reason it’s just not worked out this season. #LFC

Well that was shit again. I know there’s players errors, but Slot is picking the same players game after game who are making these errors. His player management has been woeful. His tactics and decision making is poor. He has to be held accountable for it now. #LFC

Desperate tactics time again, throwing everything forward. Chiesa isn’t trusted to start a game, but relied on to bail out the team when the badly performing players mess up again.

Only player worthy of praise on that pitch right now is Szoboszlai. Complete collapse again. How the hell does Konate get picked every game putting in performances like this. Slot to blame for that, poor performances have zero consequences. #LFC

Slot doesn’t help himself with the team line ups. Underperforming players picked game after game whilst others sit on the bench not give a chance. Surely Gomez, Chiesa, Endo deserve a chance? They may as well ask to leave, they never get a game. #LFC

Reading social media this evening, the tide has clearly shifted over Slot. Lots of people who have previously had belief he would turn it around have moved to saying he needs replacing. Can fully see why. Interesting times ahead… #LFC

Been watching the Morning Show on Apple TV lately. Nearing the end of S2, feels like this second series hasn’t been anywhere near the quality of the first. The character of Alex is getting very boring and badly acted by Anniston. Does it get any better or was S1 its peak?

Feels like a proper Christmassy winter day today, cold and misty outside, so it’s time to crack open some of the beers I’ve been saving for Christmas. First up a port barrel aged barley wine by Torrside. Can always trust Torrside to do a fantastic barrel aged beer. #Beer #BskyBeer

I have always thought that Slot would turn this around and we would come good, but I am starting to doubt that now. Look at 2025 as a whole, and we have been woeful more than good. Maybe it is time for a change, but who with…. #LFC

International break ends, and LFC pick up where they left off. Slot complained we had played away from home against tough teams, so can have no excuses. This isn’t a blip, it’s a major issue. Don’t know where we go from here to fix this as the problems are everywhere. #LFC

After having paused my subscription several times since the launch of the new format, I have finally cancelled Brewser altogether. This ‘Brewser 2.0’ format just doesn’t work for me. Shame as the Brewser team seem great people. #Beer

Of all the teams we have lost against this season so far, losing to City is one I can accept in terms of their ability and threat. But I cannot accept the performance today, far too lacklustre. Some odd decisions from Slot too. Today has been a backwards step. #LFC
