We'll be having a bunch of silly mascots for you to vote for; to do so, match the team rep's donation to Wessam's GoFundMe during the event period! Be sure to read the images for full info.

Donation Match! is a tournament-style fundraising event.

The aim is to raise the remaining cost of evacuation for a young family in North Gaza: Wessam, Tasneem, and their 2-year-old son Yazan. The crossing may re-open early in the new year, but it’s unknown when or for how long.

How does this work?
We’ve created a set of fun mascots, with a story about searching for a “Guardian” to bring in good luck for 2025. You’ll be able to vote for your favourite one!

Wait, how is that related?
We’re getting to it! Each mascot will be represented by a different participant, creating a team. To vote, you must match or beat the donation of said rep to the family’s GoFundMe. The mascot that brought in the most funds by the end is officially crowned “Alpha Guardian of 2025”. If your team wins, you can ask us for a special free sticker of the mascot.

Each mascot rep will make an official post on their platforms for collecting votes.

Voting on Twt/Bsky: If your account is public, simply QRT the official post with your donation receipt*.

Voting on Instagram: If you have the function, simply comment on the official post with a screenshot of your donation receipt*. Otherwise, you can DM it to @pals4pal.art and let us know what team you’re supporting.

Voting via other SNS/anonymously: We will provide a google form link for you to submit to.

*Remember to censor personal details before sharing your receipt screenshots!
