At this point, there's nothing remotely "skeptic" about Michael Shermer. Perhaps for him it's more of an aesthetic, in that I'm supposed to read things he's writing as though they are being said by a calm voice. But I know he's screaming inside, like every other sexually violent man.

ICE terrorizing tribes that don't play along with the government's detention center plans has echoes of a lot of fucked up history, but one thing that pops into my mind is Sutter's reign of terror around Northern California, burning down villages of tribes that won't go working in his fort.
