#Commanders holding press conference today at 5 p.m. with GM Adam Peters and Dan Quinn. Should be Peters solo. Heard enough from Quinn this season. Not from Peters. Should be a three-day. Adam Peters press retreat. You could question him for hours on McLaurin dispute impact alone.

Sunday review: This may be hard to believe, based on the poor play by most local teams much of the year, but 2025 was one of the most historic years in Washington sports history. My column www.washingtontimes.com/news/2025/de...
LOVERRO: Historic year for local sports, even if biggest stories took place outside the lines
This may be hard to believe, based on the poor play by most local professional sports teams for much of the year, but 2025 was one of the most significant years in Washington sports history.

Sunday review: the #Commanders party is over. A fractured fan base hates your stadium, your name, and now, with an unfortunately familiar lost season, your product. Happy Holidays. My column www.washingtontimes.com/news/2025/de...
LOVERRO: Redskins resurrect? Lost season opens door to those fans pining for team’s old nickname
What may have gotten lost in all the attention to a Christmas Day 30-23 loss to the Dallas Cowboys at Northwest Stadium was that it was the Washington Commanders Fan Appreciation Day.

You can beat the #Commanders by more than four touchdowns. You can break their QB so much they!re afraid to play him. But go for two for a 29-10 lead with less than five minutes left? This aggression will not stand. The win for the brotherhood My column. www.washingtontimes.com/news/2025/de...
LOVERRO: Brotherhood borne of losing together is perhaps a little overrated
Well, now we know that there’s a line in the sand that the Washington Commanders won’t allow you to cross.

I set the dance floor on fire Sunday night at Bethesda Theater. Some guy came up to me before we left and said, “Go Redskins. I’ll never call them the #Commanders..” Whatever feelings were soothed by last season’s 12-4 record are now raw. Owners have a problem.
