I honestly believe the only people that should be elected President are people that can do, but do not seek, the office. Wanting to be President is more often than not wanting the power, not the responsibility. Better to give the responsibility to someone without drive for power.

I’ll never be convinced that Biden/Harris attacking Gaza protestors on campus didn’t directly lead us to this amp-up of ICE violence. Vilifying protestors always emboldens fascism.

It’s all the physically large countries (and their colonial projects) that cause world problems because they always want more. Maybe we should as a planet decide that no countries can be larger than the current median (Ireland) and break up anything larger.

I’m getting tired of the “Biden/Harris wouldn’t have done this or that” - because no sane person does what 47 is doing. But that doesn’t intrinsically mean they were the best the Dems had to offer and we didn’t deserve more of a choice than “Biden or Uncommitted” in the primaries.
