“but now it is actually bad”… every time it feels like that, else, again, prices wouldn’t have fallen in those moments. Markets have been through world wars, pandemics, major financial crises, etc. Odds are things will eventually work out as they did in likely much worse situations…
Everyone wants to buy the dip - until they’re living through it. Dips happen for a reason; Prices only fall when there is fear and uncertainty, not in isolation while all else is great. But if you’ve ever looked at a chart and thought “wish I bough there…”, now is one of those “there” moments.
Possible reasons:
- didn’t train enough with the racing shoes
- used to run under 30C, maybe the 10C weather stifled my muscles and I didn’t warm up enough
- waited for too long in the corral out of anxiety
- walked too much the previous day
- didn’t taper enough
Tokyo marathon: my first running disappointment. The course is so insanely cool that my left knee got starstruck. Still finished it while limping, but it seems like my first more serious injury as I still can’t walk well after 4 days.
This massacre of YZJ Shipbuilding #BS6.SI was/is a great opportunity. -30% because of Trump's admin's possible measure which may not even have an effect even if actually put in place, while the company announces 50% higher earnings sounds exaggerated, to say the least.
Airline stocks have been awful investments for decades - even Buffet couldn't crack the code. But the boy here bought a bit of Singapore Airlines #C6L.SI. I wrote some thoughts about it, just in case it's useful to any of my Russian bot followers:

Singapore Airlines: the Best in the Worst Business
Firstly, airline stocks are bad investments!Below is how a handful of major airlines - chosen with a ton of survivorship bias - have performed in the last 10 years. If you randomly picked a few, you’d...

Yoasobi, probably best concert I’ve ever been to
Tried listening to Bloomberg Daybreak: **Asia** Edition… 80% of it was an American living in Canada talking about the US markets 🫠🫠🫠
Talking about Bandai, Eta Star Benetnasch Mime pre-orders will open today. It was one of my favourite characters in the Asgard arc. It looks gorgeous, and the price is very reasonable compared to recent figures: tamashiiweb.com/item/15311/?...
Just published my first-ever blog post! 🎉 It’s about the Business of Nostalgia; or how Bandai Namco turns anime fandom into a business; or how I went from being a Saint Seiya fan to being a shareholder... wondering if should change the title... www.kayamoney.com/post/bandai-...
Bandai Namco and the Business of Nostalgia
If you grew up in Latin America during the early '90s, chances are you watched Saint Seiya - Toei Animation's adaptation of Masami Kurumada’s manga. While the series was well-known in Southern Europe,...

After years of buying Bandai's anime figures, I remembered Peter Lynch's 'buy companies you like' approach, so I bought some #TSE:7832 shares... then the latest numbers came out yesterday: sales +23.8%, profits +129%... thanks, Peter! Also, a new good excuse to expand the collection...
Post running-in-Tokyo thought: people running in cold weather got it so good vs running in a place like Singapore. Heart rate is like 10-15 bpm lower for the same pace. No drinking-5L-of-water-and-still-thirsty feeling.
Post Dempagumi.inc concert thought: No-pics policy at concert venues in Japan is so great. No phones blocking one’s view. More time to actually enjoy the concert. And a good reason to buy the DVD.
