I've been off social media for a bit (i find it healthy to take breaks) and I come back to the bsky guideline stuff and if that goes through on Oct 15th I will likely drop my account! Would not be comfortable being here in good faith especially given how vague and abusable those guidelines are

Restricting the expression of sexuality through fiction and art made by adults, for adults – including those you find personally disturbing or offputting – is conservative censorship, full stop. When that censorship disproportionately affects subgroups, that's also discrimination. For shame.

This has a lot of implications with personal lore details for him and history I've injected into the universe's lore. It's called Astral Cadence, which is both the name of the phenomenon he's related to and the name of the made-up "expansion" that he meets the WoL in! It takes place after Endwalker😌

Still working through Tiger's new lore but he's always been a hero from "across the stars" so it's been neat to bend FFXIV's worldbuilding and lore to accomodate that

With this most recent version I'm making him a starship captain! He pilots the starship Stella, and is a "hero" in his own right

they are relying on cis people to look the other way while this happens. they are relying on you thinking "Well, it could never happen to me." they are relying on the idea that people will not care or help and YOU - non-trans people - MUST prove them wrong. anything less leads to extermination.

There's already a draft policy to create a category of "transgender domestic terrorism" within the Trump administration. They could potentially classify all trans people as domestic extremists and terrorists just as Russia did.
