Does ICE have qualified immunity, if so, based on the voluminous number of videos, can it be revoked?

existing precedent made it clear to any reasonable official that the conduct was unlawful.
If both are met, a court can deny qualified immunity, allowing the lawsuit to proceed. Courts may refuse immunity when misconduct is so obvious that no precedent is needed, ie egregious excessive force cases.

Qualified immunity can be negated in a court case, but only under certain conditions. This 2‑part test:

Constitutional violation: The plaintiff must show the official’s conduct violated a statutory or constitutional right.
Clearly established law: The plaintiff must prove that, at the time,

3.The case could be made that they would be in danger if they were incarcerated in a regular facility. Those ice facilities would make perfect incarceration locations for these rogue assholes. They should be thankful we don’t send them to South America.

1. Make them pay for false arrests, and pay repeatedly for multiple infractions.
2. If we were possible to sue them individually for assault, and an illegal arrest should void qualified immunity.
