Some more Mazinger and other robots came out of storage so I cleared off a shelf and lined them up! Every one of these I bought from the store about 40-50 years ago. Still got some more to unpack. Maybe I'll start collecting again.

Good luck to the Miami Hurricanes today! Grab that 6th (7th) championship!
Go Canes!

With nothing going on with Hawkman now, I thought I'd start a side hobby. Best part is that it has absolutely nothing to do with DC Comics.

I made the choice years ago to make my life in Japan. Permanent residency, wife, children, home, 30-years in the same job, etc. But I'm suddenly wondering if the orange buffoon is going to destroy my life here and try to force me back to the states. This thought had never crossed my mind until now.

The obvious reason the painted pedo keeps defying the polls is that a third or more of his cult are afraid to admit they support the orange buffoon, because that would make them look like buffoons. They'd rather support a diapered half-wit and destroy everything rather than succumb to common sense.

It's hard to believe that there are actually Americans who support the felon king's plan to take Greenland. Have they lost their minds? If America does anything of the sort, they should lose the World Baseball Classic and the World Cup and be banned from both. Just for starters.

America is a broken joke. I've never been embarrassed to be an American but here we are.

I'm starting to wonder if there is going to be a World Cup held at all.
The World Baseball Classic just might sneak in before it all collapses. Like Super Bowl 2020 before COVID hit.

Callie, our Calico cat. Sweet in the morning, cranky in the evening, and the center of our family (and knows it) since 2021.

Question
Does the United States even have a Congress anymore?
Doesn't look like it but if it does, it is the most flaccid, weak, worthless group of people ever assembled.
I used to have respect, but if one of them ever comes to my house, I think I'll guffaw and tell them to get off my property.

While I am a Miami fan, the ending of Ole Miss-Georgia is a very good example of why college football never be great. Miami-OSU '02 is probably the best example. That was the day I stopped taking college football even remotely seriously.

I don't want to hear the news anymore. It's disgusting, depressing, and beyond pathetic. Trump has made breaking the law normal, and accountability non-existent. He has destroyed America in my mind and I will never be proud of my home country again. Even after he's gone, his America remains.

All those analysts are saying it was a horrible game, but the Miami Canes held the Aggies to 3 points at TA&M. That blows my mind. The Aggies averaged 35 points a game this year.

Miami wins!
We were playing Texas A&M, but this feels like Miami beat Notre Dame again.

Rob Reiner never won an Academy Award and was never even nominated for the best director award. Not once. This is pretty strong proof of how worthless and off track the Academy Awards are.

Rick Scott should be in jail and Kaitlan Collins needs to find a new job because she sucks at this one.
COLLINS: What do you say to people who say Republicans have had 15 years to change the ACA and they haven't done it?

RICK SCOTT: Why didn't Democrats fix it?

Australia announces strict new gun laws. Here's how it can act so swiftly
Less than 48 hours after the deadly attack at Sydney's Bondi Beach that left more than a dozen dead, Australian authorities announced proposals for sweeping new gun laws.

Been watching football talking heads lose their minds over Notre Dame being shut out of the playoffs. But they know what college football is. It's badly organized, has biased rankings, is detrimental to the players' health, and controlled by money. College football is the perfect analogy of the US.

FIFA flopped and gave the felon king a "peace prize." Lost all interest in anything about the 2026 World Cup. Could not care less who wins or loses. #boycott
