I just found this video taken in September of five masked ICE agents breaking into the women’s bathroom in NY and arresting a woman without a warrant. They kicked the door in and yelled at her to pull up her pants as she cowered in a stall.

No men in women’s bathrooms?

So the ultimate goal was indeed met, Mel Curth was targeted by a right wing grifter, had a phony grievance ginned up against her, and has lost her job, interrupting her education and career, solely because she's a trans woman, and another instructor was dismissed for supporting Mel.

Kids will have very tough questions for the adults in their lives when they grow up and realize they were subjected to repeat Covid infections so we could rush “back to normal”.

These kids will live with chronic illness the rest of their lives because society refused to adapt.

Absolutely wild pink nitrogen ribbon aurora burst last night here in Iceland. There was cloud cover, and I was worried the show would stay shrouded. Voila!

The purpley-pink & white ribbons are much closer to us in the atmosphere than standard green arcs, and are fast moving.

i have been on hold trying to get my medication for 20 minutes. btw if you have adhd you are expected to have time to do this with every pharmacy in town on the last day of your meds every single month. you basically just can't do anything that day. it's a day a month that you can't plan anything on

From 2018 to 2024, the tax rate paid by eight major retailers was slashed from 30% to just 17.5%.

The CEOs of those major retailers were paid a collective $1.3 billion.

Meanwhile, the average worker at those stores was paid less than $32,000 in 2024.

Nothing trickled down.

I’m old enough to remember when CBS News would never have surrendered to a demagogic president or any other politician. Remember Edward R. Murrow?

If refusing to comment is enough to kill a story, then the government now has veto power over journalism.
That’s what CBS normalized last night — and it should scare everyone.
