I work down the road from my children's school. I panic a little every time I hear sirens. Are they headed to the school? Are my babies ok?
I know I'm not the only parent who lives with this fear. We all do. And I'm fucking sick and tired of people pretending there's nothing we can do about it.

They are defunding and/or destroying Medicaid, SNAP, FEMA, public radio, education, environmental regulations, and medical research because.....

Republicans will try to destroy the NLRB and OSHA so they can further exploit working class people. They don't want a "golden age" (to quote Trump), they want to bring back the Gilded Age.
