Your pain, your submission — it is my privilege.

Tell me, Will, do you see? Do you feel what happens when you cease to resist? When you allow yourself to be what you are? Mine.

From my head. (And ofc made the image.)

— You let him in too deep, Will. You allowed him to build an altar inside your mind.
— I didn't allow it. He was just there.
— He is defiling a sacred space. Your imagination is a temple. Not everyone deserves the right to pray in it.

"Normality" does not have a monopoly on depth, intellect, or the capacity for beauty.

A bridge between the internal loneliness of such a consciousness and the external world. This is not a justification for cruelty. It is a resonance with a different philosophy of existence, conveyed through art.

I finally saw a visualization of a complete aesthetic and intellectual system that is crystal clear and close to me, even if in a hyperbolic, artistic form. «Hannibal» became a bridge for me.

Paradoxically, «Hannibal» has given me (and him) a great deal. In it, I saw a reflection of my own internal landscape. It was a moment when art became a way to legitimize an experience that society often stigmatizes.

Today is World Mental Health Day.

I have several diagnoses, one of which is Antisocial Personality Disorder (in my case, what was once called psychopathy). My partner also has several diagnoses, one of them being Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I don't know about all the fans of the show, but in my and my partner's case, we loved the show from the very beginning. The dynamic of their relationship is very close to us, and not just the sexual/gender aspect (though that is also a pleasant and happy coincidence for us).

No one taught me this (in my country I’ve never seen someone who was taught this in their childhood), but from the back neckline.

First of all, met the love of my life. Already 20 years together.

Amazing combination. 🖤

My partner's «Hannibal»-inspired manicure. Kinda guess who is Will Graham in our personal story...

Oh, thanks a lot! 🖤 I'm terribly antique and didn't know that. In that case, maybe I'll try to take part in #Inktober with my poetry (I write in Russian, but I translate it into English).

For someone who's a bit out of the loop: these days, is #Inktober strictly for drawings? It was never really meant for writing, was it? I'm just thinking about what to do, since I'm writing #Hannibal and #hannigram poetry...

"I've always found the idea of death comforting. The thought that my life could end at any moment frees me to fully appreciate the beauty and art and horror of everything this world has to offer."

It's not a new or fresh thought, but when you don't just read or hear it, but actually live it, it hits you completely differently. And then I realized I'd heard this exact thought somewhere before. Oh, right, exactly... ⬇️

But even if it's not (and that's a possibility), it's a great reason to use whatever time I have left to look more closely at beauty (or what I consider to be beautiful) and to perceive the things the world can still offer me — specifically me — more intensely. ⬇️
