There's very little appreciable difference between a corrupt Democratic elite and a corrupt Republican elite. Especially at the local level of politics.

Corruption is bi-partisan. And it's strangling us.

LLMs (which I don't call AI), like many new technologies, elicits either irrational exuberance or reactionary hatred. There's not a lot of rationality in between on how to beat manage the technology for the greatest benefit of all.

I will manage technology policy well.

"People vote against their own interests" - everyone upset when people don't vote for their party.

So what, we think it's a bad thing now when people put national or community interests above their own? That should be praiseworthy!

People vote for many reasons. They disagree.

I am constantly amazed by what Trump actually says and does. I had to check for myself this was real.

No one owes this man loyalty. You do not have to support him. You do not have to work for him. We can hold onto our souls. It is a choice. Everyone knows who he is.

If you don't want Ohio to be a place that attracts the greatest talents from across the country and around the world, you are bad for Ohio.

The benefits of skill and talent are enormous to Ohio. We must be a state of openness and opportunity and investment.

You don't have to take pains to be a centrist. I don't censor myself to not come off too left or right.

Like precision agriculture is good because it reduces waste and runoff, saving money for farmers and consumers while also protecting our lakes and rivers. All good things!

Trump administration is dangerous and waging a campaign against our country.

Price controls: bad
Innovation: good.

Ways to make things cheaper.

Unfortunately the only thing we've managed to decentralize with cryptocurrency are Ponzi schemes and even THAT'S somehow being recentralized in a few financial institutions. How?

Seizing land by force can't return as the standard in international affairs. Since WW2, the United States has helped maintain peace through international sovereignty.

Let's continue to be the country that stands up to aggressors. Let's be the country for peace.

I needed someone to ask Jaleel White at his Galaxycon Q&A about the most important issue of this election: Vivek's "Stefan over Steven" veneration tweet.

I live in an insane world where politicians push absurd policies because bot accounts in Russia or Pakistan posing as Americans tell them it would be "based".
And no one will stand for good and necessary policy if it costs them one vote.
Politicians must be smarter and braver.

Robotaxis and other autonomous vehicles are actually going to enable huge shifts in transit policy possible. INCLUDING creating more value from rail systems. Very much solving a last few miles problem.

We have not begun to imagine our future!

I'm not saying LLMs are a dead end for AI, but they do seem to be hitting some substantial barriers such that I hope some of the AI bubble funding goes to alternative AI technologies.

I consider both Vivek and Acton to be Ohio success stories. I also think they have SOME good ideas and valuable experiences that, if they are sincere about them, I'd like to see in my administration.

And would like them to be involved in my post-partisan administration.

We're losing the fight against corruption and corruption is what's eating at the foundations of our country.

We need to rebuild trust, rebuild our institutions, and hold our politicians to account.

Amy Acton's campaign is somehow negatively polarizing me to like Vivek more because they keep attacking him most fiercely whenever he says something GOOD.

My takeaway from AI so far, especially its use by students, is that we genuinely need to enculturate the Star Trekian philosophy of self-improvement. You have to want to learn. Because jumping through hoops is a broken system.

2026 Acton vs Vivek is making me think of 2016 Trump vs Clinton in that, it seemed at the time that the only people either of these candidates could actually beat is the other.

I'll add I have much more respect for Acton and Vivek then Trump or Clinton. An Ohioan bias!

Stopping inflation comes from fiscal and monetary constraints (government spend less/tax more, higher interest rates).

The way to actually lower PRICES is through innovation. Better technology more widely used. We need an innovation agenda.

Party primaries, where there is a lot of overlap with closely ideologically aligned candidates, is one of the best applications of Ranked Choice Voting. Democrats would certainly be smart to do this.

State laws come into play. I would allow it in Ohio.

Was on the Purple Political Breakdown podcast! Great interview covering Data Centers, energy prices, property taxes, NIMBYism, and how everyone should be nicer to Vivek.
