Want to add your voice to calls for a world where trans people are safe, included and feel like they belong?

We need everyone - trans people, our friends, families, and allies - to speak up for the world we want to live in. Join us and do that today: scottishtrans.org/emailfortransinclusion
Oh dear! Anyone who knows you knows what nonsense this is.

It does though clearly demonstrate how far JKR's and FWS's transphobic views have driven them away from reality and into real unpleasantness. The more time passes, the more the anti-trans crew show their true colours.
As Laura said above, in Scotland you can each choose your designation on the documentation - any of Bride, Bridegroom, Groom or no designation - whatever your sex. So perhaps come and get married here!

Stand Up for Trans Rights, Feminism, Equality & Human Rights*

Allies, cis women, cis men - it’s time to use your voices to support the trans, LGBT+ & intersex community. Don’t worry about getting it “right” or “wrong” - the most important thing is to speak up + show your support.
... and she said service provider there, not employer. But the EHRC will be issuing the statutory guidance on what the Equality Act now means, for both service providers and employers.
The Chair of the EHRC told the BBC this morning that the judgment was quite clear and means that if a service provider says that they are offering a women's toilet, trans people should not be using that toilet. She said trans people, not trans women. Of course she could be wrong.

Today has been an unbearably tough day for equality, human rights, and feminism. It’s exhausting and disheartening to see progress threatened, hard-won rights trampled, and marginalised communities targeted. In the face of adversity, we must find strength in each other.
It is a lie. The Explanatory Notes for the Gender Recognition Act, written by the Blair govt, say it changes your sex for purposes of sex discrimination law. A fact that the Supreme Court dismissed in favour of their own nit-picking over their particular interpretation of the wording of the Eq Act.
