Okay, the U.K. has tried the #HardBrexit experiment foisted on it under the pretext of the Referendum

It’s been ruinously expensive, in more ways than one

It hasn’t worked, big time

It can’t be made to work, ever

It’s time to start on the path to #RejoinEU

This is so true! There is a very good video (HBO?) from a
couple of yrs back that detailed how Farage et al manufactured the Brexit campaign to line their pockets!

Will UK taxpayers get their £122m back from PPE Medpro? | Michelle Mone

No, since:

“There is no obvious, easy route to recover money from any individuals behind the company in this case”

And these two are just the tip of the iceberg!

Will UK taxpayers get their £122m back from PPE Medpro?
The high court told the company linked to Michelle Mone to pay up over the supply of defective gowns, but there appears no clear route to reclaim the funds

Do British people want to leave the #ECHR? Here’s what the polls say

No, the majority don’t because:

“Research shows that attitudes towards human rights grow more positive as knowledge of human rights increases”

A no-brainer, to anyone sane…

Customers of five water firms are facing higher than expected hikes

Am I the only one to find it surreal that the Completion and Markets Authority was called in to arbitrate?

These firms face no competition and there are no market forces at work!

It should have been obvious, during the various rounds of privatisation, that water should be an exception

The idea that absolute monopolies, for that is what these companies are, would treat their captive customers fairly when privatised was frankly idiotic, doomed to fail

There are arguments against nationalising certain industries. The idea that the state can always do better is for the birds.

But when it comes to the water industry, we KNOW they're a bunch of greedy polluting sharks. So why the government haven't stepped in to snaffle it up is a real puzzle.
