📩 We would love to hear your views! Email me at [email protected] to share any local issues and the things you’d like to see in our community.
🔶🔶 We had a great day out in Letchworth Grange recently, listening to residents’ concerns and gathering views on how to improve our local area. 💬 Your views about our town are really important to me, and these surveys have already led to a lot of casework to address local concerns. 📝
Who else got to see it or picked up a copy of the record locally? 🧡🩵

We loved watching the Official Release Party of A Showgirl, celebrating Taylor Swift’s 12th album, at the Broadway Cinema! It was fantastic to see our local cinema hosting such a special event! 🌠
Congratulations to Dame Sarah Mullally on becoming Archbishop of Canterbury. A truly historic moment as the first woman to hold this role. I wish her strength and wisdom as she takes on this important responsibility. 🙏
The Rt Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally DBE, currently Bishop of London, has been nominated as the next Archbishop of Canterbury.

The Diocese of St Albans offers its congratulations and prayers.
I had my flu vaccination today! 💉💙 I really encourage everyone to check with their GP or local pharmacy about getting theirs too - it’s a simple way to protect yourself, your family, and our community this season. #flujab #Letchworth #NHS

The @libdems.org.uk Conference in beautiful Bournemouth was energised, full of pride in our country, and the ideas needed to make it even better.
Hard to believe our kitties turned one recently - here they are posing for their portraits! 🎉🐱🐾💕
My commitment has always been to make sure families, carers, and young people are properly heard and to improve SEND educational support and I’m proud to be working with our Lib Dem team to make this happen.
This is an issue close to my heart as someone with an invisible disability. I feel a renewed sense of determination to share my own personal experiences and make a difference.
I was particularly struck by a workshop on invisible disabilities, led by young people with lived experience, which highlighted the unique challenges faced by those of us with invisible disabilities and the urgent need to grow awareness and understanding.
- This week, I attended the SEND Summit, which brought together parents, carers, young people, professionals, and the voluntary sector across Hertfordshire to discuss key issues.
- Also in July, I welcomed Cllr Mark Watkin, Hertfordshire County Council's Executive Member for Education, SEND and Inclusion, to Letchworth North for a SEND Listening Event, where parents and carers shared powerful testimonies and gave us feedback.
- In July, I was invited alongside several MPs to visit Knightsfield School, a specialist school for deaf children in Welwyn Garden City that serves Hertfordshire and beyond where I heard directly from pupils and parents about the huge difference the school has made.
- I was appointed to the Hertfordshire County Council Education, SEND and Inclusion Panel, where I take part in key discussions affecting SEND educational support.
During the election, I pledged to take action to tackle the SEND crisis in Hertfordshire and I’ve been working hard to deliver on that promise. Here’s some of the work I’ve been involved in:
Always have a blast at #Balstock, but this year was extra special with the festival celebrating 20 years, performing with an amazing group of women in the gorgeous St Mary’s Church, and cheering on a friend at her performance! 🎵🎉🎤🥁💜
Late posting, but another brilliant Letchworth Open at the Broadway Gallery! 🎨💕 Here are some pieces I loved from 2025:

✨ Portrait of Hanako by SL Senehedheera
✨ Timeless Elegance by Steve Barnard
✨ Alice in Wonderland by Yvonne Connelly

The camping was exhausting with my health, but it was so worth it, and I’m feeling very grateful and blessed. 🙌❤️
Had such an incredible time at the New Wine Festival 2025 at the end of July and the beginning of August. ✨ I loved taking a week out to spend with God and have come back spiritually refreshed, creatively recharged, and with a small library!
Thanks to everyone involved in organising it - can’t wait for the next one in November! ❤️

Such a lovely afternoon at the Parish of Norton’s first Jigsaw Sale today. 🧩 The atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming, we found some real gems among the jigsaw puzzles, and the cheese scone was absolutely amazing! 😍
