Unpopular Tokyo opinion:
A little too clean for my liking. I don't need Berlin levels of graffiti & grime on everything but many residential areas felt like a film set. Tastefully decorated sidewalks and no sign of human mischief. The mountain town we stayed in before felt more human and lived-in.

Vacation was really interesting and there was lots of fun but God was it exhausting. Walking every day from 8 til midnight and being in a group and the social and food struggles that come with it. I don't think I'd do a group trip like this again. Thank God it went over without incident.

Home now after a few days of rest in Berlin and a train ride that was as cramped as a plane and now the haul assessment and post-travel low can really kick in 🙂↕️ also I went to the dentist yesterday and need a root canal so that was a fun first day of work after an already exhausting vacation.

The cat is sick, and the vet can't find out what it is, and recommended a clinic. BF is considering returning from vacation early. I'm supposed to fly out to meet him there tomorrow. If I fly there and then a day or two later we fly back it'll be the most colossal waste of money of my entire life

I can't get hyped up for my vacation because it's so stressful and I don't see myself enjoying traveling with a group even if I like them, bf already sees them 3 times a week, why do we gotta take them on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation too?? ENOUGH.gif

yesterday was like the 3rd time I was aggressively approached by a "member" of this "metal band" that pushes its "albums" across several cities in Europe and every single time they lock in and chase you, getting progressively more annoying until I tell them I'm not interested and they insult me.

I got the R6 and it doesn't feel like an upgrade from my 550D- what happened to haptics. What happened to using the camera with one hand. Grain is better but that's kind of it... I should have gone with my gut and gotten an older model
