I think not as well it was more corner case. I just dont see the need to make hybrid cards playable in mono colored decks and since the question is being floated around by whatever the new CAG is called im being a whiney ass. Lmao

God I agree. The second they announced UB in standard I knew that format was fucked. Like the selling point of UB was you could avoid it, and obviously that was a lie. 3-4 UB sets a year in EDH? Go fucking nuts, but man the state of the game just feels really bad now.

Even if these formats weren't awful, they dont fire unless you're geographically lucky or able to travel to big events. What sucks is EDH didnt need the help. One format being the only priority isn't good for any format. Just feels like Hasbro doesn't care if the game makes it another 30 years.

As a person who plays EDH, and loves Magic, what I think sucks is that if you don't want to play EDH there is essentially no where else to go in the game. Modern has been bad. Standard is ass and looks like it's going to be ass for a long time. Pioneer is somehow deader than legacy and vintage.

As someone who still plays, I feel that. I miss paper standard but I refuse to build in it until they unhead their asses. EDH feels so spoon fed that brewing in that isn't as exciting. And UB just...eh. Like yay new players but Im sad watching old friends constantly walk away.

4 decades of being black, and about 3 decades of being big enough to match a description has legitimately left me numb. The horrors have always been there, they have just gotten real loud. Which is weirdly almost validating because like white people finally see it now.

I've never liked UB because it seemed like the place we are was inevitable. It brings new people in, and that's awesome but it feels like the care for the game feels like its gone from Hasbro. Also it sucks seeing people who have played this game for decades leave because its no longer for them.
