PSA: reki does actually say his childhood friend's name out loud in the OVA, it just got missed in the official subtitles! his name is yoh (耀)! no family name, but the kanji means sparkle/shine ✨

Something about Adam letting Tadashi sleep in & not calling him out on his lie of waking up early feels like Adam making up, I guess, for his previous harsh treatment of Tadashi. He's giving him time, freedom, encouraging him when Tadashi gives his opinion
