Filed with the City Council in Apr 2024. Had hearings, town halls, briefings, votes by Council & House—& then he blocked it in the Senate last Dec. Council passed it again in Feb 2025 & we’re still waiting for a vote.

I don’t have the power to stop State Senators from doing their job, only they do!

Boston has a number of exclusionary schools for the well off or those just lucky enough to get in but only one fully inclusive high school and they’re shutting it down. It speaks to what we in Boston value and it’s not people with disabilities.

This funding helped a lot of the people I used to work with stay stable and housed. The administration now wants to use work requirements, they know are un unachievable to throw people with severe disabilities like schizophrenia, into the streets.
