So, Hofesh Shechter's Red Carpet --
Absolutely exquisite dancers. Truly extraordinary.
But an assaultingly loud score. Horrible "lighting" design that obscured about 80% of the performance. Very intriguing and nuanced choreographic vocabulary but 75 minutes of it got to feel rather self-indulgent.

During my last visit to San Diego (2023 in March), there was no concert scheduled. But I was able to walk our ShihTzu - Clara - around. I was staying in a hotel nearby.

Shapiro: I filed that amicus brief last night to make it very clear that the Pennsylvania National Guard is under my command.

The way the President has chosen to deploy the Guard in other states—and, in at least one case, deploy the Guard from one state into another—is extremely dangerous.

This is what courage in the face of authoritarianism looks like. No university should take Trump's bribe & surrender their integrity — bending the knee to a bully only feeds the beast & puts ALL our rights at risk.

Others should follows MIT’s example ASAP.
