I think the stewards decision was correct. Reasoning was a bit funny though. 😄

"We looked into whether Car 16 remained on track at Turn 12. The available evidence was inconclusive. Both team representatives were in agreement that there was no clear evidence that Car 16 had left the track."

Engine manufacturers will discuss again about future PU regulations in a meeting at Monza. Next Power Units will most likely feature naturally aspirated 2.4-litre V8 hybrid engines. Manufacturers still undecided though when they will be introduced.

Some F1 teams aren't as open with their latest simulation data for 2026 as others. Those teams hope to gain an advantage by hiding the real numbers from the FIA and Pirelli. But this kind of sandbagging could backfire. #F1

Ferrari ran new DRS-equipped front wing on their mule car during the last 2026 Pirelli tyre testing session at Budapest. It works similar to the front wings that will be used next season. FIA permitted it to get the mule cars closer to the expected downforce levels.

We are hearing Verstappen is commited to stay at Red Bull for 2026. But Red Bull agreed to let him go for 2027 in case he wants to leave the team.

Mercedes, Audi & Honda have rejected any changes of the scheduled V6 hybrid engine plans till 2030. There will be further meetings to discuss possible changes of the homologation process should one manufacturer lack behind in power.

Engine meeting on Friday at Bahrain could lead to a different ratio of combustion/electrical power for the 2026 hybrid PUs. Right now they are targeted at a split of 55/45. Some manufacturers prefer 70/30 or 80/20 at least at the beginning.

Looks like Jack Doohan didn't close the DRS wing in Turn 1 on purpose after having tried it successfully in the simulator.

There were discussions in F1 to keep the current rules for 2 more years and switch straight to V10s in 2028. Another idea: Keep the new 2026 regs for only 3 instead of 5 years before the V10 switch. FIA already set up a V10 working group.
