When I hear the term "mark to market," all I can think of is Enron. That was the heart of their scam.
Tesla is losing money on their cars, and they can't continue to operate the robotaxis at the promotional rate they're using right now. The only reason Tesla shows a profit is because of a GAAP change allowing them to count their unrealized crypto gains as profit.
