I am so sorry to hear that. My father was a predator in the Army, but the whole point of that was to protect mommies and children. I don't attend church anymore, but I have been considering the Salvation Army. I like their stance on sacraments. We are the same age.

I was not raised in the church. I read the bible before I attended a Baptist Church. In the 80s their interpretation of the bible was quite liberal. I left about the same time Jimmy Carter did. Having never been filled with bullshit I wondered how you couldn't love Jesus.

Their parents raised them not to act smart and not ask questions. I am a Christian, but I saw them do it many times in churches, so I am sure it was relentless at home.

The people who voted for Trump voted for the violence of ICE. They love seeing desperate brown people driven into the dirt; Brown children crying out in desperation. MTG says she is MAGA and supports Trump, but she went on CNN and criticized Mike Johnson for shutting down the House, she demanded the release of the Epstein files and spoke out strong against defunding ACA supplements. She is going to catch a bullet to the neck with that kind of talk.
