I find the resistance to 2025 gerrymandering in Indiana and Missouri interesting bc I think it's another data point that MAGA is incredibly dependent on low-info voters not actually knowing the specifics of what Trump wants to do. Once it comes to their doorstep in plain terms, they're out.

(It's always common to aim for a lot more than the threshold to avoid disqualifications, and in this case state officials will go against them hard.)

Based on the results in TN, there’s no way the proposed new gerrymander for IN-01 works out for Republicans. It would already probably be a loser for them even before you factor that Lake County, IN, which would make up two thirds of the district’s population, is a quarter Latino.
