Please be honest? Nobody wants a fight with Russia but to pretend they will respect a peaceful boundary is fantasy. And all of that is not to say America also has interest that are NOT in line with ours. It is a difficult situation but if we just allow a bully to bully ...guess what happens.

Except Russia is ALREADY aggressively pushing Canadian airspace regularly. Russia is launching drones and E Warfare in Norway and Finland and Sweden and Denmark and Poland and oh ya ... Ukraine.

And that's the thing with wishful thinking on Peace...it tends to be well intended but naive.

Again ... I highly doubt Russia's benevolent intent. I don't necessarily trust the US intentions either. As for Canada in the area...we can't ignore that the Arctic and what's at stake is something on the radar for powers that's less than altruistic.

Ya ... I dont want us in it. Im sure part of it is they wont have a system that functions without trying to engage targets until they're in US Airspace so they NEED Canadian participation. Much as we despise this Administration (and rightly so) we do have joint interests

They weren't always the party. Our PM is essentially a Red Tory or Blue Liberal. That center right block of voters didnt disappear. I dont disagree that who the Cons are now aint that but I believe there is a space that desperately yearns for a party to fill that void. Its clearly wont be Poilievre

There are legitimate reasons to criticize the current BC NDP Government...the BC Cons are polling at about 26pts and stuck on pushing bs items and in party squabbles. They couldn't form Government so no one is holding the NDP to account and voters see the Cons as a disaster.
