I think deep down we all knew how that game would play out before a ball was even kicked. Same old story yet again. Will always be fond of Farke because of last season (and usual recruitment caveats apply) but don’t think we have any choice now: roll the dice and make a change or we’re down. #lufc

Thought I was used to the emotional rollercoaster of being an England cricket fan but this has been absolutely ludicrous. #ashes

An incredible effort from @danieldylanwray.bsky.social on this. 150+ interviews, covering nearly 70 years, this is THE book on one of THE great cities for music. Very proud to be Dan's publisher 👊 #SHEFFIELD
This - finally - is the definitive musical history Sheffield so richly deserves.

GROOVY, LAIDBACK AND NASTY is @danieldylanwray.bsky.social's authoritative and hugely entertaining story of the city, told through its independent artists, scenes and spirit.

THE ASSET CLASS, my first book, will be published by @wnbooks.bsky.social on 9 April 2026. It’s a narrative investigation of private equity, a secretive and relentlessly destructive wing of finance that penetrates almost every aspect of our lives - and it’s available to pre-order now!

Sure putting on your winter coat for the first time that year and finding a forgotten £20 note in the pocket is great, but have you ever put on a coat and found a Pear Tree Productions pen?

Generally been sanguine after our defeats so far this season but today was really, really concerning. Crumbled immediately after scoring, no clear shape or direction, late/ineffective changes, and a squad that fundamentally didn’t look good enough. No positives whatsoever. Anyway happy Sunday. #lufc

Deciding who I want to win between West Ham and Burnley is tough, but on balance I reckon a 0-0 with a violent mass brawl that sees both sides receive at least 6 red cards, match abandoned, then each have 12 points deducted would be my preferred outcome. #lufc

Always liked to think I have a relatively refined sense of humour yet here I am still thinking about a chest lid cracking Joe Marler on the head over and over again. #celebritytraitors

Very proud to be the publisher of Steven Finn’s book The Ashes Files, which is out today. Steven’s a top bloke and this is a really honest and raw account of what it’s like competing at the very top level of a sport - and the impact that can have on a person when things don’t go to plan

New Idlewild album is out today. I’ve loved this band for over 25 years now and have always thought they’re so underrated. This new one is just a lovely piece of work. Long live Idlewild.
