Sadly, upon further inspection, the Tomorrowland clip Disney uploaded to YouTube in a 4K file was merely an upscale of a heavily compressed streaming version of the film.

To compare resolution, here's a crop of the same frame from the clip in question, the Blu-ray, and a 4K leak:

The Disney YouTube channel released a clip from Tomorrowland today, the first footage from the movie officially released in 4K outside theaters.

Is a UHD release finally coming?

Tomorrowland was the first feature film with an all-4K postproduction pipeline, and the first released in DolbyVision.
