Awesome work always being done by @warpdoor.com highlighting good weird stuff. So often it feels like games, and even indie games, keep repeating the same stuff over and over. So many games look the same and feel the same. Always inspiring to be reminded there are new voices pushing things forward

been using chromatic aberration as an alternative to screenshakes by just offsetting the RGB values towards a set direction and distance which just gets lerped back.

feel like it achieves a similar feeling of intensity without taking away visiblity too much?

Super cool effect, I would way overuse it. Like make it happening at low intensity all the time so stuff is kinda vibrating, and use it in big spikes for impact
