Heading to Develop in Brighton again this year. Always a really great time. We (Fireshine Games) are nominated for a couple of awards so I'm even attending that! Hopefully will still get plenty of time to catch up with folk and overdose on the free ice cream. Anyone else attending?

Been playing Days Gone for around 40 hours and I've just clicked to what has been my major issue with it.

Had my first experience of not being able to book a GP appointment. When told I responded with "oh, okay. No problem". The lady offered me a complaints email and seemed genuinely taken aback when I told I would not be needing it. She seemed so genuinely happy and surprised that I didn't kick off.

Finished Indy Great Circle yesterday. One of the first time I have enjoyed the cutscenes more than the game play.

I've been working my way through my comic book backlog. Just completed the @brianmbendis.bsky.social Superman run (12 books). Didn't let me down.
Can think of only two times a comic book has choked me up. Both were Bendis, both involved a secret identity reveal and both were newspaper editors.

Finished watching Midnight Mass on the journey home last night. Thought it very good with everything making sense for the story and characters. Religion makes me uneasy so I was on edge from the start and they cast the very religious folk very well.

Was on the National Express when the weather alerts went out for tonights storm. Felt like a movie with everyone's phone going off at the same time.

Finished Jedi Survivor last night. Kinda buggy (had a horrible one that took me 30 mins to realise was an issue, fortunately a reload fixed), often infuriating as I got lost quite a few times (could just be me) but when it's said and done it was Star Wars and I was a damn Jedi.

For some inexplicable reason, I've started to go through all my tweets, one by one and deleting them when I have a spare 10 minutes or so. I guess I don't trust the blanket, close account option. Feels a touch safer but what really gets deleted these days. It's somewhat 'interesting'.

On my bus trips back and forth London (from Cardiff) been working through the Mike Flanagan series on Netflix. Really enjoyed the 'Haunting' ones but a little over halfway through Midnight Mass and it's hitting different. I knew nothing about it going in so everything more impactful. 2 more to go.
