Finally read Ito’s Tomie and it was pretty great. I’ve read most of his other major works and a good amount of his short stories but I hadn’t read his first work Tomie. It’s cool to see him develop artistically through the original short all the way to the last Tomie story.

I was rewatching the original Alien movie and reminded how much I have always loved the discovery of the space jockey's corpse/fossil from that film. All the mechazoid heaps in Lumen are directly inspired by it. www.kickstarter.com/projects/ton...
