Not pretty at times, but got the job done. Wissa will score plenty of goals making those runs. Worried about Tino and to some extent Hall, although....at least Alex Murphy finally get's an appearance bonus!!!

A popular way of telling someone not to get annoyed in the UK is “don’t get your knickers in a twist.” The US equivalent to which is “don’t get your panties in a bunch.” A better version, in my opinion, is a phrase I’ve heard a few times in the north of England... “don’t get on your huffy bike.”

Rodgers in total control. Loving it and our defence has turned up.

"So Eddie, please explain that piss poor excuse for a performance?"...a question not one journo will ask sadly.

In 3 words? A dreadful performance or piss poor effort

Today is your day Anthony Elanga, it's time to become a fucking Geordie legend and get that goal.

How are Leverkusen this season?

I appear to be in a minority of one who quite enjoyed that.... rotation done, Elanga and Gordon offering plenty. Willock and Ramsay with food minutes. Crap error at the end, but it was quite comfortable.

RIP The Judge, arguably my favourite England cricketer when i was a kid, fearless and destructive and always entertaining. The sight of him in full flow versus Merv was intoxicating. Rest in Peace.

When you compare that to this time last season, our best season in recent memory, we're one point off where we were then plus we've got nine Champions League points as well and a spot in the Carabao Cup quarter finals yet again.
Keep the faith..!!

Surely Nick Pope has read a lot of the criticism online, that must be getting to him? Give him a rest, we went on a heck of a run last season when MDubz came in. Ramsdale offers a lot and he'll be mad keen to impress.

Jinxed us....anyways, two words...Aaron Ramsdale

Right, I am confident about tonight. Elanga will break his duck. No, you may not have a pint of what I have been drinking... 3-1 to NUFC.

Masses of experience, worked under Emma Hayes title-winning side at Chelsea and was likely someone 'one good job' away from a top WSL position - is a good get given the current market I reckon.

Let's go get promoted!
