Bluesky! I like the idea of you, and I found many writer friends I had misplaced when Twitter collapsed. . .but I never find myself lingering, scrolling, reading, finding interesting things here. I WANT to make this my home-- what am I missing?

It's awful. People are being taken by force from the streets, from courts, from churches, from schools, from workplaces and sent "somewhere" with no access to an attorney, family, friends, or a phone. Anyone can be disappeared into the ocean or to a prison in Uganda, never to be heard from again.
