A characteristic weakness of granular delay particle sprays is sounding too clinical and spindly, which is ugly — only a few tools like Lunacy Audio BEAM have a built-in way to make them more organic, reduce shrillness, AND the macro knob does wonders for transition blooms.

I remember seeing electronic musicians with walls of synths, then got disappointed when most of them were on display and barely played — feels dishonorable to have a living work of art and not interact with the extents of its myriad soundshaping possibilities.
