There’s warmer weather expected this week, which means it’s a good time to clear any leaves away from sewers or catch basins near your property to help melting snow drain from the roads and away from your property. 🍂

Frozen pipes? Don’t make it worse.

If your pipes are frozen, avoid risky DIY fixes.
❌ Avoid using flames, propane heaters, or unattended devices
✅ Try running a basement tap or gently warming the pipe with a hair dryer

Warming Centres are now closed. Staff are working to refer individuals who remain onsite to alternate spaces in the shelter system. For drop-in programs, 24-hour respite sites and other services, visit toronto.ca/homelesshelp or call Central Intake at 416-338-4766.
Homeless Help
Shelters provide temporary accommodation and related support services that assist people to move into housing. To access a shelter call Central Intake: 416-338-4766, 1-877-338-3398 or 311.

Crews continue plowing and salting after yesterday’s snowfall. Windrow clearing is underway - 3 m wide openings at driveways with windrows of 25 cm or higher. Conditions can change; multiple passes may be needed. More: toronto.ca/winter

Snow plowing is underway. The City will clear 3 m wide openings at driveways with windrows of 25 cm or higher within about two hours after plowing. Make sure to clear sidewalks, stay back from crews, & travel with care. More: toronto.ca/winter
