A text post which says This is why I've started Welcome to the Hi Street as both a maker and a customer I want to find out more about all the amazing shops and shopkeepers out there and discover new places to 'invest my money' aka treat myself and loved ones! With everyone feeling the strain at the moment if a share of a sale here or a natter with a shopkeeper there helps both makers and stores continue and to hopefully flourish then that's what I'll do! A text post which says As makers and shopkeepers we're all dependent on each other for our businesses to grow. I know my work will not suit every shop and vice versa but I also know that the more diverse and vibrant our high streets remain the more chances I and other makers have of finding ones that do!With this I then have more income which I can put back into my business to make more things and lets face it also spend with the very same indie shops, because they all stock such lovely things!!
