New study on budgetary impacts of enlargement clearly shows the impact of a big bang enlargement, leading to a new "statistical effect" for some Member States and regions similar to the one in 2004 showing that it can be managed if there is the political will.

The @ec.europa.eu decision for creating Project Groups for implementing the EU policy agenda associates the EVP for Cohesion to the Project Groups on housing, skills, water and agriculture, but not to industry, defence or preparedness. Why?
