There’s an environmental cost. Tech companies are keeping that cost hidden, so it can’t be good. That’s the reason I don’t want to use it.

That link doesn’t work. I’m looking for problems for tape diagrams for 3rd grade. Duane’s are lovely, but the lower elem are too easy and the upper elem too hard. I want to make this a weekly routine.

This is one of my favorite instructional nudges (@zandrade.bsky.social @drwon.bsky.social) b/c it can help set a classroom culture where ppl appropriately calibrate their confidence levels. (Wouldn't it be nice if everyone did that in life?)

Waiting in pre-Tgiving line at grocery store & decided to listen to a podcast about teaching math. Ended up w/ 2 tchrs talking about the importance of memorizing x facts. Lord, don’t do this to me again. I need podcast recommendations, math teachers.

I found the early elementary was too easy for my 3rd grade class, but the upper elementary was too hard. Third grade-the Goldilocks grade.
