You need to read this heartbreaking @propublica.org account from inside Dilley Detention Center, where hundreds of children are being held.
This is 18-mo-old Amalia waving to me when she was detained.

She was hospitalized with a respiratory infection while at ICE’s Dilley facility for immigrant families.

As we decide which high school to send our son to, I’m tired of hearing about career preparation and even college prep. I want schools to teach students to think critically about what they see, hear & read, to develop their identities and to CHALLENGE AUTHORITY. Not to create more worker drones.
