Yeah there's quite a bit of them, they're basically everywhere cus it takes a couple to break before changing phases

You could always wait for them to respawn tho xD

Also there's a lot of cists, I usually do the ones on the back, the hands and maybe the ones on the heels but just do whichever are easiest for you

Tree is technically optional but its also how you make boss weapons

So you can just leave it but its not a hard fight, remember to break the zits and maybe use some fire damage cus its weak to fire

thats why in DS1 the humanity sprites are all black and small.

The Dark Soul itself CAN be kinda remade but it requires a lot and it's a main point for the Ringed City DLC

ok so... the Dark Soul was one of the souls found in the Fire at the prologue of DS1.

However, unlike the other Souls that were generally hoarded by 1 person the Furtive Pygmy basically ripped it off and turned it into a bunch of mini souls. Humanity is those remnants of the Dark Soul
