This reminds me a little of Mel Brooks dealing with studio notes.

He would have changed “Blazing Saddles” froma daring, funny, crazy picture to a stultified, dull, dusty old Western. He said, “Nofarting.” I said, “It’s out.”

Passenger carriages would sometimes be added to a limestone train purely for the convenience of anyone wanting to get to Hardbrooke (or to town) without having to wait for a dedicated passenger train.
Something of a ghost train, as it ran whenever the wagons were ready and didn't stop inbetween
