Yesterday before our beach clean a lovely lady Kait arrived with a memorial donation in memory of her father-in-law, Joe Quinn. The generous gift will go towards supporting our pollinator meadow project helping to create a lasting legacy that nurtures life and beauty 🐝. A big thank you to Kait πŸ‘
Our volunteers have been busy making Christmas decorations for our stall at the Tramore Community Market on Sunday 2nd November in the GAA
All funds raised through the sale of decorations will go towards materials for Bird Boxes 🐦

A windy Wednesday beach clean yesterday! πŸƒ Thanks to the 8 students from Ardscoil na Mara for coming along and doing their bit to help keep the beach litter-free 😊 Coffee and cake as usual afterwards, it's a ritual at this stage! β˜•
For #NationalWalkingDay2025 last Sunday, a group joined Tramore Eco Group and Waterford Sports Partnership for a walk to the salt marshes and the dunes, learning about the plants and wildlife along the way 🌱 🐞

A very windy morning yesterday for our beach clean πŸƒ
We found huge amounts of rope and tiny pieces of plastic tangled in the seaweed, lots of jellyfish too πŸͺΌ
Our coffee warmed us up after, and we even had some yummy cake too!
We managed to get a beach clean done despite the threat of rain! 🌧️ And thanks to Ricky and George for their work repairing one of the sand banks πŸ™‚
