I have rebranded!!!

Hunt_TrainDX name has been retiredf and I am now Huntonic! I will still be myself and still focus on first playthroughs of JRPG's and other variety!

I am so excited to return to streaming and will be doing my first stream at my new space next Saturday! 10/18!

I absolutely agree. My intention in posting was to clarify a lot of misinfo that was going around on the timeline. With many claiming Bsky was using Generative AI and using user data to train.

I think we have a long way to go in terms ethical AI on a global scale for sure.

My aim is to clarify whats really happening here from a tech perspective not to invalidate any feelings.

This is going around again and it is not true. Like every site on the internet, Bluesky uses machine learning to do a first-pass approximation of image classification to detect and label content. They have repeatedly confirmed outside services do not use Bluesky user data to train their models.

Bluesky uses AI internally to assist in content moderation, which helps us triage posts and shield human moderators from harmful content. We also use AI in the Discover algorithmic feed to serve you posts that we think you’d like.

Analytical AI vs Generative AI are two different things.

AI for analysis uses a different methodology behind accuracy training and is generally considered more ecologically safe.

Thats not entirely true. They use AI for analysis and triaging and dont train on user data.
