My cherry tomatoes are coming in nicely. Now hopefully my other tomato plant will do the same.

I know there is a lot going on in the world & ppl have problems bigger than me. But I am desperate I checked the balance for my grandmother's AC unit & it's down to $1,031.93. The interest is what's killing me. I am asking if anyone can please donate & share.

Despite my decent into depression I have to get up and catch the train to Amsterdam today to renew my passport. Usually I'd want to explore a lil bit but today I just want to get there do what I need to and go right back home. Lord give me strength today....

My spirit is at an all time low. Still being unemployed & looking. I still haven't been able to pay off my grandma's air conditioning unit & I'm scared of not making the payments. My whole working adult life I've been the dependable one & now that I need help I can't seem to get any 😭....

Yesterday was a day it was 90° with no wind and I felt like I was melting from the heat. Since having an air conditioner here is considered a luxury not every house has one. I was so tempted to go jump in the canal just to cool off 🥵.

I got a recommendation to go to a restaurant called La Rambla in the village of Adeje. The village is located in the mountains their garlic fried chicken was incredible crispy & was covered in that sweet & spicy garlic sauce. We also had the famous Canarian wrinkled potatoes with green & red mojo.

The manner in which I have been hoarding this last bag of buc-ee's sour power belts is insane. I've been holding onto it since my last trip home & I already devoured the other two bags. I'm tempted to ask my uncle to get me more on his trip back home but that would just be feeding my obsession 😬😅

A few days ago, I saw a republican lawmaker taking shii that pickup trucks are not in Europe. Pickup trucks exist here but are considered a working vehicle for contractors. If you aren't a contractor, you can get one, but you will pay a ton in import taxes. I took this picture on my morning walk.

The utter debauchery no fuckery that went down in the oval office yesterday was DEMON work! At my dutch class today, they asked me if I was embarrassed to be an American? Zelensky really kept his calm, but I know he was screaming & cussing on the inside.

The job market is abysmal! I've applied to so many jobs I am qualified for & nothing. I applied for a job on Sunday & today I get a automated response they were not proceeding with my application. No explanation as to why either. I'm 100% certain AI has ruined the job application process. #BlackSky

Watching the super bowl being hosted in New Orleans got me craving pralines! There are some junk food things I miss from america but man am I missing pralines! Specifically chewy pralines from Aunt Sally's in the french quarter.

Stayed up until 2am last night to watch the game & the half-time show. As soon as it started, I told my friend I could hear cultured america going wild! Of course unseasoned america was complaining cuz they have nothing else better to do. I'm just glad the Eagles won....🦆 the chiefs!!!

Dordrecht is the oldest city in the Netherlands & where I now call home. The island is a treasure trove of preserved architectural wonders. The island is surrounded by rivers Merwede, Noord, & Oude Maas. The streets lined with 17th & 18th century houses & picturesque canal views. #blacksky

Got home from doing groceries & I hear ppl yelling. I look out my window to see a man arguing with the restaurant owner downstairs. The guy walks inside his house & comes out with an unsheathed KATANA! Threatening the restaurant staff then he runs inside his house. The cops are in his house now 😱

Even though I updated all my info in TikTok to reflect that I live in the Netherlands now I can't access it. The government was quick to say it's a security risk. Yet they didn't & haven't done anything about the data breaches & companies selling our data.
